Have Nunchi explains language and culture for English readers. Our standard is not to make Korea sound simple; it is to make each claim as clear, specific, and supportable as the subject allows.

Accuracy and sourcing
Definitions should answer the reader’s question early. Korean examples should sound natural for the relationship and level of formality being described. Claims based on statistics, law, published research, rankings, or named people should use a primary or authoritative source when one is available. If a detail cannot be supported with enough confidence, we narrow it or leave it out.
Everyday usage does not always come with a formal citation. In those cases, we distinguish common usage from a universal rule and avoid presenting one person’s experience as the whole culture.
Cultural context
Nationality is not a personality. We may discuss broad tendencies such as high-context communication, hierarchy, age, or group harmony, but those patterns vary by person, generation, region, workplace, and family. A strong headline does not excuse a fixed or biological claim about Korean people.
Automation and illustrations
Have Nunchi may use software and generative AI to assist with topic research, drafting, formatting, data checks, or illustrations. Automation is not a source and does not remove editorial responsibility. Facts still need support, Korean examples still need to fit the situation, and generated images are treated as representative editorial art rather than documentary evidence.
Corrections and updates
We correct substantive errors when we find them. Small spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note; material changes may update the page date or add context. To report a problem, email hi@havenunchi.com with the page URL and the sentence in question.
Advertising, affiliates, and sponsors
Advertising does not determine our definitions or conclusions. Affiliate links or paid placements, if used, should be labeled and carry the appropriate link attributes. We do not ask readers to click ads. A commercial relationship that weakens the usefulness or trustworthiness of a page should be removed.
